CONSULTING SERVICES - RECORDS AND ARCHIVES MANAGEMENT FOR RUSUMO POWER COMPANY LIMITED

The Republic of Burundi, The Republic of Rwanda, and The United Republic of Tanzania have received financing from the World Bank toward the colt of the NELSAP's Regional Rusumo Falls Hydroelectric Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services.

Regional Rusumo Falls Hydroelectric Project would like to hire qualified and motivated Consultancy Services for Records and Archives Management for Rusumo Power Company Limited.

The objective of this assignment is to establish and implement a systematic records and archives management system to support management of both physical and electronic records and information which enables easy capture, storage, retrieval and access of RPCL records/archives.

The Record and Archives management systems shall support management of RRFHP and RPCL records in all forms and formats and this includes finance, administration files, technical files, legal, human resource, project operational documents among others.

The qualified Consultant Firm shall possess proven experience of undertaking project archiving management. The Consultant should have at least 10 years' experience and successfully completed at least three similar assignments related to project archiving management.

The consultant team should comprise multidisciplinary experts with appropriate qualifications and experience and indicative key team members include (a Team leader, Record and Archives management specialist and Document Management Specialist). No individual Bio data requested at this stage

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers ("Consultant Guidelines"), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

The consultant will be selected in accordance with the Least Cost Based Selection (LCS) set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (January 2011 edition, Revised July 2014). In case of dead-line submission of (COI) fails on the government holidays, the next working day shall be considered as the last day of submission.
